The Cilento,   is a mountainous area of the Campania in province of Salerno,  declared byUNESCOHeritage of Humanity  where they are born and the olive trees live, secular plants with sinuous roots.

It is these  roots that Bartolomeo Gatto has been working silently for years, almost as if he wanted to read the scent of history in the layers of wood.

Only he has the opportunity to see intoxicating colors and scents that once in contact with the air lose their liveliness.
